You know All The Surprising Things Gamers Are Ready To Give Up On For Gaming

There is no doubt in the fact that the pandemic turned out to be an ideal time for gamers as right after the lockdown took place, statistically, there was a 46% increase in the number of gamers all around the United States.

But while people turned to games for pleasure during the crisis, this rise came at a price of compromising on other things and that is exactly what customer relationship management company Sykes has recently revealed.

Skyes conducted a survey based on daily gamers and they were given a choice to pick either giving up their social media followers forever or not play games for a month. The results turned out to be very surprising as 62% of the respondents said that they are willing to part ways with their online friends. In fact, majority of them were even ready to ditch some IRL friends too as 54.6% bluntly admitted that they would choose to not talk to their friends for a month rather than giving up on gaming.

Moreover, continuing with the results, 68.53% were also ready to remove TikTok from their lives, 61.65% said they can live without Netflix, and 60% were even willing to give up on their favorite music streaming platforms.

While this may sound very shocking but the survey took another surprising turn when 67.53% of gamers gave an answer of giving up food-delivery apps for a year than gaming. 66.4% also said that they can live perfectly alright without Amazon Prime delivery, and 65.67% even promised to give up on drinking alcohol.

But in the end, these are stats and there is a lot to look forward to this year considering how the lockdown restrictions are easing up. More and more people are getting ready for dinner parties with friends, drinks at the fanciest rooftop bars, and also strolling through stores to get back to normal life.

At the same time, there are also some new titles that are going to be released in the form of Mario Kart 9, God of War: Ragnarok, Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, Far Cry 6, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, New Pokemon Snap, Gotham Knights, Gran Turismo 7, and Monster Hunter Rise.

So, it would be interesting to see whether the world is really crazy for gaming now or it was the pandemic that made the world crazy?
